If you are on a previous version of GoldMine it is going to become crucial to upgrade to the latest version. Moving from any previous version to Premium brings all contact data, fields, reports, history, and emails to the new system, seamlessly.

New user interface includes:
              -Recently Viewed Contacts to quickly jump to a contact that you were working on without having to look them up again.
              -You can choose to have a window view of your contacts, email center calendar etc or the new view of tabs across the top.
              -Quick buttons to go to all features - Mail, Contacts, Activities, Calendar
              -The "4 quadrants" are gone. You can now have any field - user defined or default fields in a layout that works with your business flow.

On-the-fly Filters: Dynamic sorting and filtering, which allows users to add attributes and criteria to a search by clicking within results, as well as sort by different criteria on-the-fly without re-running a query.

Vista and Office 2007: GoldMine premium Edition installs on Windows Vista and is compatible with Office 2007.

Crystal Reports:  As you have probably experienced, GoldMine® standard reports are OK unless you want to design a special one for your business. Each purchase comes with a license of Crystal Reports to develop complex reports and have any user view them from within GoldMine®. ($495 value)

SQL Server:   PE comes with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 for Workgroups. The data is housed in SQL Server instead of dbase tables. This doesn't mean much to the typical user of GoldMine® since they will only see a few differences but to the GoldMine® or System Administrator they will love the fact that they can have regular backups, and database maintenance through a more stable backend. ($1500 value for 10 users)

Outlook Integration: PE comes with Outlook Integration for each GoldMine® license so you can use Outlook for incoming email and manually or automatically link the emails to a GoldMine® contact record as a part of the history tab. ($200 value for 10 users)

No more Borland Database Engine (BDE):   GoldMine® PE does not use the BDE so there isn't the nagging problem with data corruption errors. (Value: priceless)
